    Few questions about RT pro

    Hello,

I've been out of paintball for a year so I'm alittle lost of the whole paintball technology. Right now I am getting back into paintball and am looking for a marker under $600. So far I have a cocker picked out but I just read about the Level 10 mod and am very interested. My first marker was a Minimag (still have it! SN#1702) and I loved it but the random chopping is what made me go to another marker.

My question is about the RT pro that comes with the Inteliframe. Does this marker come with the Level 10 bolt kit? I liked how the E-mag felt at the pro shop does the Inteliframe have the same feel? Or should I just upgrade my old Minimag with a RT valve and bolt?

    Thanks
    Rob

Welcome to AO, and welcome back to paintball. From reading your post, your considering three options, buy the rt pro, upgrade your current minimag, or buy the cocker.

Personaly, I wouldn't waste my my time with the cocker. That's just my personal preferance tho. You may find that you'll chop as much with a cocker as with your old mag. You may not.

If you buy the rt, it should come with lx, but may not depending on where you buy it. Maybe someone else can confirm this. A good choice imo, but the cheapest I've seen them go for is 575.00. Must have compressed air for this option.

If you want to save money, upgrade your current mag. If you send in your minimag valve plus 200 dollars, you can get the x valve. That's the rt valve with lx pre-installed. If you liked every thing about your mag before, but the chopping, you may want to go this route. Also, if you do go retro/x valve, make sure your using compressed air/nitrogen and not co2. So you'd have to buy a tank too, if you didn't have one already. Hope that helps.

edit: Oh and as far as the feel is concerned, The I-frame is mechanincal, So if your talking about trigger pull, they will not feel the same. But the I frame is absolute quality. It just has a different (mechanical) pull to it. And you can always put one of these on your minimag. I would recomend it actually.

i would recommend trading in your current valve for a XValve. the XValve is just like the RT Pro valve but it is 4oz lighter(made from aluminum as opposed to stainless steel) and comes with the LX bolt preinstalled. the LX bolt almost elinimates chops all together. it also helps prevent barrel breaks...worth its money and some...
