    Preset Question??

How can you tell if you have a preset tank from PMI? I looked at the website and not much info was available....I have a 4500 88cu that I bought on Ebay and I am trying to run it on a RT. I know it has a test date of 9/01 on it.....Any help would be appreciated.

WELCOME TO AO.... glad to have ya aboard

U see no way to ajust it.... rather... if u gas it up on ur gun... does the guage already go to a certain pressure setting on the input guage ?

The easiest way is to ask the guy you bought it from... otherwise Since it is a PMI tank it is most likely a preset. This isn't a bad thing, though.

it will have one gauge if its perset or two if its adjustable. there will be a gauge on both thats 5000psi or 7500psi and if its adjustable it will have a second one that goes to 1500psi or so.

thats the easiest way to tell

Thanxs, I guess I forgot to see the obvious answer, the input guage. Sometimes you need someone to remind you where your head is at 3:00AM...LOL. Thanx about the guages, I know for sure its not adjustable now, and its a 950 preset so it works on my RT. Now I just gotta get myself a Flatline, so I can regulate it to my trigger pull.
