Valve trade-in for xvalve - does it have to be all stock?

I am shopping for a used mag, and intend to get the xvalve upgrade. Can't find anything on the AGD site that spells out the tradein program.

A lot of the used mags have reg mods or aftermarket velocity adjusters. Also some have mismatched reg/valves. Does anyone know if AGD cares about that when you trade a valve in? From what I have read the tradeins are scrapped anyway.

    Thanks

Valve and reg have to have matching serial #s.

As for what kind, it can be retro or Classic to get the X-Valve.

I asked a AGD tech and he said it dosen't need to have matching # to go X-Valve because they don't want old valves circulating anyway so they melt em. And most upgrade parts are made up of the same materials anyway.

Thats news to ME and about everyone else here. im 95% sure that they DO have to be matching halves....and both have to be AGD stock valves(Retro, RT Pro ro Classic)
