    Agd Help!

So I was trying to take apart the safety and clean it because it was real hard to set, popped it out, cleaned and oiled the spring (couldn't get it out), the ball bearing and the safety itself, still sticks, I think it needs a new spring. Anyway, I put the marker back together, turn on the power and I can't change the settings. I'm hitting the top button and it's not doing anything. I figure maybe I knocked something lose or something inside when knocking the safety out? So I take off the grip panels and I notice the screw that holds the PCboard in is kinda lose and the board is somewhat "wiggly". Then I notice two parts sitting on the board, and where the top switch should be, theres nothing.

    Here's a pic:

now my question is, I bought this marker used, I registered the valve, is this something covered under warranty or will this cost me? If so, how much? Also since I'll be sending it in, I think I'll have them give hte marker a once-over, repair the safety and setup the Lvl 10

this doesn't look like something I can fix myself. Doesn't look like anything is broken off, just that the little silver part (next to the grip frame on the right) goes over the white (button) part and holds it in place.

I don't think the safety has anything to do with changing modes.

You don't appear to have the little jumper (brown wire) in the socket. The little jumper with the brown wire acts as a tourney lock into single fire mode only. Take a look at the manual, pg 4 under "Mode Jumper".

i ran into that after cleaning due to a gun-hit...but it wasnt as severe. i put everything back together, and the top button didnt seem to 'click'. i took a look and found that the 'little white part' had bent upward, and was not activating the board. i simply bent it back, and was set to go.

it looks as though yours may have broken off, which is obviously not good. tough luck pal, send her in to AGD, it wouldnt hurt to have the over-haul like you mentioned.

the jumper allows burst modes, rather than locking it into semi...seems like you have it backwards.

Yep. Looks like I wrote it incorrectly, but look at the pics. I don't see the jumper, so no burst modes, right?

Kev, I know the safety has nothing to do with the modes, just wondering while I was tapping out the safety pin if I could have dislodges the board/button?

I dunno, I'm gonna call AGD today and find out hte prognosis.
