    X-Valve problem

Just recieved AGD Xvalve installed on a MM, almost imperceptable leak coming from inside the two regulator halves and does not fully charge trigger or at least does not fire marker. Trigger is bouncy i.e., returns with a little force yet does not discharge gun. Tried lengthening the trigger rod, didn't work. Lvl 10 a possible problem with spacers etc.? or something internal to the valve? Not real familiar with RT/ReTro/X-valves, only the classic mags.

    Thanks all,

Do you mean mini mag or micro mag by "MM". If you mean micro, it's probably your on/off pin. You'll need a shorter one. If it's a mini-mag, I don't know.

have you turned the velosity up??? if you turn to much it will just vent but it sounds like ya just need to crank it up. may take a lot of turning.

Do NOT adjust the trigger rod! Just because there are threads there does NOT mean it's an adjustable part. There's about a .005" tolerance on the length. Set it to 1.980" and leave it alone.

If the trigger has pressure, you just need to turn up the velocity to increase the valve pressure so the bolt will fire. Run some oil through the valve and see if that cures the leak.

No! Do not adjust anything. Just unscrew the reg halves, remove the brass reg seat and you will see the oring is stuck to it. Just pull it off, oil it and put it back.

Tried all the above advice. The marker discharges now, but there's still a small leak from what sounds like inside the valve.

            Thanks all,

              Ok. Check this-

Air up the marker and safety it. Move the bolt around a little and see if the noise changes. If it does, it's a carrier issue on the level 10. Means you go to the next smallest carrier.

              Report back.
