Newbie mag user question!!

Ok, this will probably seem to be a stupid question to most of you. But is there supposed to be a lot of noise the trigger makes when the pressure goes back to the trigger after its been pulled compared to other guns, the sound of the air going back to the trigger just seems to be loud? It just seems that it makes alot of noise compared to some other guns iv shot before. I'm using a classic TKO mag powerfeed kit with a 47 ci 3000 psi crossfire tank. thanks for ur help.

Let me geuss paintballgear.com 280$. Please describe when the pressure goes back to the trigger, and no a mag should not be that loud.

Well, it kinda makes a ....Thuppp... sound when it the air goes back to the trigger, kida hard to discribe. It doesn't seem to slow down the trigger response or anything, just a sound.

if i undertsand what ur talking about...it sounds normal to me, the 'thup' sound that is....i think everyone is just used to it...i dont find it that loud though, i mean, the mag is a loud gun, but a new barrel will fix that

There is always pressure on the trigger pin via the on/off pin. No noises are made by air hitting that assembly except when you first gas up the gun. The first air will push the on/off pin down and make contact with the trigger pin and trigger. This will be a loud click.

The only noises made by a classic mag while firing would be the bang from the high speed release of compressed air and the ping from the bolt banging against the return spring.

Other noises might be caused by air leaking around some of the o-rings until the o-rings fully seal. This can happen on newer guns until they are broken in or if tolerences are off. A new gun requires lubrication and a bit of use to seat all the o-rings.

#1Mags should not be loud gus. I own one as do two of my friends. The classic BANG loudness is a sign of a broken mag. The only pop you should hear is the Air venting down barrel after a shot. A ported barrel will quiet this. There should be no consitent clicking or popping other than that. However all air guns have their own personal quarks.
#2When you say air goes back to the trigger that sounds like a drop off of pressure. Sit in front of a chrono and fire of a QUICK string of ten or more shots see if balls dont start rolling out the end of your gun. I knew someone who had this happen. It was a tank problem and sounded like what you are describing. Non rt mags dont recharge so that u can hear them.
