    RT Pro Valve leak

    Okay,
I think I know the problem, but I want a consensus...

I put a new RT PRO valve w/ Level 10 in my mag today.

I put together the level 10 and screwed it back into my mag and turned on the HPA (i have an on/off asa) and air came FLOODING out of the mag FRAME! .... I checked the orings in the on/off and they seem fine.... so my only assumption is since I bought it used the actual ON/OFF is wrong (maybe too short). If I tap the trigger while air is coming out I can hear the air change its sound.

    What do you think?

    Sincerely
    Dave K

does it stop when you hold back the trigger.....

if no then check the orings in the on/off....

if yes you may need a smaller carrier....

in either case try a good dose of oil first( 3-5 drops) and work it through.....

When I hit the trigger and hold it down it LESSENS the amount of air coming out, but never actually stops it ... but it makes it a bit less.

      So what do ya think?

      Sincerely
      Dave K

only leak out the valve in the trigger frame is through the on/off....but i have tried an extra short on/off pin in my dads setup before. i used my .712" on/off in his RT valve, and all it did was do full auto.

get ahold of some calipers and measure it.
