    Barrel won't lock

I bought a new grip frame and I put it on and now the barrel won't lock in place. It won't twist. I put my old grip on there and it worked fine. It is the grip that is causing the problem. The grip somehow prevents the barrel from twisting. I tried both of my barrels and it didn't work. My old trigger frame worked on both barrels. I am assuming the problem is that the grip won't allow the grip screw to go in as far as the old grip. What is the problem and how can I fix it?

my only guess is that with the new frame, when u screw it in on the front screw, the screw is going too far into the chamber and making essentially a second raise in the chamber that is preventing you from any barrle movement as it rubs against the top of the screw

but then again i am new to paintball and agd guns but i was looking at mine the other day

It looks to me like it isn't going in far enough. Should I feel the bottom of the screw inside the barrel behind the locking pin?

        No.

If you can feel it then it's sticking too far up. If it's sticking too far up it will hit the barrel and prevent it from turning.

Try backing it out a little bit with the new grip frame. If that works then you should probably put a small washer on the screw to get it to sit right.

I'll try loosening it a bit. I'll go out and buy a washer to put in between then screw head and the base of the gun when I do loosen it. I guess that might be the problem. I'll go try that now and come back and tell you guys if it worked or not.

You were right. The screw was going too far in. I loosened it a bit and the barrel turns now. So, now I have to go get the washer. Thanks for the help!

instead of a washer, you could also cut the screw down just s tiny bit. if you have a belt sander or dremel, those would do the trick and you wouldn't have to have a washer on your new trigger frame.
