    stupid question

i traded my tippy and got a broken mag, at first i wanted to trade it and get a working gun, well now i am here to ask for help.

one, which is better on a mag, co2 or n2?

two, the mag leaks real bad out the barrel, any ideas on whats wrong with it?

three, where do i look to find the serial number and to find out if there are any stars left on it?

and finaly, where should i go to find some upgrades?

    well thanks for the input,
    john

n2 is always better but co2 can be used w/o a problem (as long as it is not a Emag/RT/RTPro/Xvalve/ReTro valve)....

n2 will be more consistent overall...

go buy a parts kit.... it will have ever oring you will need.... most likely your power tube oring is bad.... to do this take the valve out of the gun... take off the bolt... you should see a brass tip with a slot cut into the top.... dig a nickel out of you pocket and unscrew the brass piece.... there should be a spacer and behind that should be the oring you need to change....

once the new one is in.... reassemble... put a couple of drops of oil into your airline... (leave our barrel off for now) gas up the mag and fire untill there is no more oil spraying out the front...

if the leak persists... you may need a different sized power tube spacer (the spacer infront of the oring you changed)

the SN# and stars will be on teh valve... i think the stars are on the left side and the SN# is on the right side right above where the valve touches the body rail... also there should be 2 sets of matching #s

to find out about upgrades.... as away here... also click on the link for the AGD store.... all the upgrades worth getting for the most part can be found there.... also look/find teh pic thread in the main fourm... there you can see what others here have done to our own

      1. N2
      2. If it is a used (old) mag I would get a parts kit and replace all the o-rings off the start to have a fresh starting point. Also, does it leak down the barrel when you hold the trigger back?
      3. Should be on the silver colored valve at the back of the marker.
      4. To buy upgrades or get ideas? For ideas, right here! To buy, your local store then the internet.

I reccomend these: N2,Moterized loader (at least a 12v x-board revy), LVL 10 bolt kit, new barrel.

The gun is 1/8" of a game that is a FOOT long!
      (...but a 'mag helps)

Python, 95% of the time leaks are just busted O-rings ... take their advice and go pick up a automag parts kit and replace all the orings in your valve and you should be okay!
