AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
take an electric drill, and bit. put the barrel on the gun. turn the barrel, untill it lines up with the feedport how you want it. this will kinda give you an idea of wear to drill. take the barrel off. you can take the orings/detents off if you want. drill a small indent in the L-slot where you want the barrel to stop. don't drill all the way through!!!! make it big enough so it will hold the barrel when you twist it. drill a small indent first. and check the position inbetween every drilling. i went from a tiny bit, to a bigger one when i got it exactly were i wanted it.
i drilled mine so that it can still be used for powerfeed. it holds the barrel in place nicely.
the easiest way to do it so u arnt guessing about the hole is to take the body off the gun and put the barrel in the body, line the barrel hole and feed hole up and then turn the body over and mark the barrel where u need to drill. mark it through the hole that the pin was in.
take barrel out and drill. not too deep though, do a little at a time.
if u put a small hole in u can still use h/l and h/r. but if ur like me and have a c/f and a h/l body and are not going to buy a h/r then drill it a little deeper so it will not go past hole. but like i said if you drill it a little deeper u will not be able to use h/r.
its really not hard at all just take ur time, if u dont feed comfortable doing it send it to damageinc56 he will do it for a small fee.
good luck bro
