    My screwed up hopper!

My problem is that my 9 volt hoppper is being really gay. Like if i hit the switch to turn on the power sometimes it comes on and sometimes it doesn't. And when it comes on, I put paint in it and the paddel won't spin when the paintballs are filled up and it won't do anything it just acts like it's dead. And a long time ago i put water through it and didn't think it would mess anything up . Do you think thats why its been so gay? And can you tell me how to fix it if it's possible? Please respond quick going paintball tommorow.

Had to quote that, it's not supposed to spin when it's full, unless none made it down to the neck?! Is it a fresh battery? Is the eye clean? Other than that I'd say that you're gonna have to take it apart and see if any of the wires have become disconnected. Water may have messed it up if it made it to the circuit board, but if you weren't running it then and it's been a while the water should have evaporated by now. Good luck

what i meant was that when i filled up the hopper and turned it on and I would hold it over a pod or something to fill the pod up and it won't start spinning when the balls whould go down the feeding tube. See what i mean.

Open up the hopper and check the board, make sure it doesn't have any corrosion or rust on it... if so maybe reconnect that wire.

        Sincerely,

That's what I thought but just makin sure. Didn't think about corrosion but that's a good point too. Let us know if you get it workin' and what the prob. was.

              still doing nothing!

It's still doing the same thing. But I figured out whats wrong but don't know how to fix it. It's the sensor thing. Like if i put my finger in it it will stop, which it is supposed to, but when i take my finger out of it it won't start spinning again. And it makes a really quite "tick tick" noise coming from the paddle motor. Now what should i do?

Do you still have it together or have you taken it apart? I like taking things apart if you can't tell! Could there be something holding the paddles keeping them from spinning?

yah i have taken it apart. see the paddle does spin. But it won't spin after the sensor has sensored something. Like if a ball was in the feed neck it would stop the spinning but when that balls goes down and away and nothing is in the feed neck it won't start spinning like it is supposed to. see what i mean.

Yep somethings definately broke! I would suggest getting an intelli. frame. Although I would use a wire to test and see if an intelli. would solve the prob. before i bought one. Then again a new revy would be cheaper than an intelli, or you could try to find someone who broke their shell and is just selling the internals and redo yours. To many choices!

Ok I do have intelliframe but no intellifeed on it yet. I figured out the problem for sure now. The motor is not spinning fast enough it's like going "click click" super slow. It's the motor. I'm going to go get a new battery for it in a few minutes. And by the way i was going to order the intellifeed parts like yesterday but one of the parts was out of stock.

Hey guys. Good news it works. It had a whole bunch of gunk in the insides of it and 2 wires were completly off the motor so it was running just a tiny bit. And i put a new battery in it and boom it worked like a charm. It took me like 3 hours to get those wires on there though. I was about to throw that hopper out my window.haha
