Questions about buying a used E-Mag

    Hi,

I buy a used E-Mag from eBay and while I'm waiting for the marker to be delivered there was a few questions. First, since this is a used electronic marker is there any know problems with the marker? I used to have a LCD Angel and remember the circuit board, battery issues with these markers. Any major wear points of the marker, should I look for any signs of abuse on the sear, bolt?

    Thanks,
    Rob

Just make sure that none of the internal wires seem to be loose from the circuit board and you should be fine.

That's one of the great things about Mags. If I had to pick one gun to get used, it would be a Mag. Generaly the only thing that you might have to do is replace a few o-rings. With the E-Mag, you should also check the electrical conections as well (like digitard said). Other than that, there shouldn't be any problem.

There might be a chance that the previous owner changed a few things from stock, caused himself problems, and sold the gun because "it never worked right." Just make sure everything is in the stock configuration and it should shoot great.

        Thanks!

The seller has the level 10 kit installed and says there is no problems, just switching to another marker. Is there a diagram of the internal wires or would this be in the owner's manual?

        Thanks
        Rob

Really, there are only two sets of wires to worry about. The HES and the ground/power wire. And you can see them both clearly when you open the grip frame & take the grip off the body rail.
