I gassed up my gun and I was getting leaking through the screw in parts in the asa, the macroline elbow and the 1/8 NPT plug, I know the macroline elbow works becuase I took it right off the gun it was working on, it also looked like when the elbow was screwed into the old asa, there was some thread seal around the threads, what kind of seal can I use for it?
Whats good to make a nice seal for screw in parts?

teflon(plumers) tape works. Thordic(i think) uses a teflon tape that is made for gases(it's yellow). i use regular teflon tape and it works fine. if you really wanted to you could get bule loctite to seal it and if you never wanted to take the fitting off again then you could use red loctite(not recomended)Comment

yeah thats what I was thinking, some type of locktite, I for sure want to get the kind where I will be able to take it off, so the blue kind is what I would want?

I think I have a new problem, I think the air is leaking out of the on/off screw that turns on the gas or turns it off on the on/off asa
has this happened to anyone or does anyone know how to prevent it from leaking?

I had to do the same thing with the exact same on/off.

One more thing to pay a bit of attention to is the actual on/off adjustment screw may actually unthread itself from the on/off pin inside the ASA itself. This has happened to me twice before.

You don't have to buy a whole new on/off asa if that happens right? and yes the on/off asa is brand new

It is a Custom Products on/off ASA, correct?
There is an o-ring on the shaft behind the big knob. If it is dirty you can clean it, if it is destroyed replace it.
Remember that the knob is with some medium Loctite screwed on the shaft.
All these if it is leaking of the on/off area.SfiggaHellas
