    HELP! Loose Hopper on Warp

    Hi

Someone please help me!! I've bought a 2nd hand warp feed on eBay, works OK. My Rev hopper is so loose it keeps falling off the warp (haven't played a game with it yet). Is there a way of making the little bugger stay on in a way that looks good or do I just have to wrap tape around the the lot?!

    Thanks for your time.

Wrap a bit of plastic tape around the neck of the hopper (just one or two wraps). Loosen the screws that hold the halves of the warp together and fit the hopper in and then re-tighten the screws. It'll never fall of or rotate and it looks clean.

I use a Custom Products hopper spreader. They come in different sizes. I use the blue one (medium). They can be inserted from both sides, one end expands the hopper neck more than the other end . Plus you can "fine tune" the fit by how deep you insert it into the neck of the hooper.

If you've got the time, patience and tools (a round and a triangular jeweler's files, less than $10 at Sears), you should be able to file a couple of grooves in the revvy feed neck and put a barrel o-ring in each groove, ala the o-ring Ricochet. I had one of the original, no o-ring, Rico shells and had problems with the Rico coming out of the Warp. I wanted a cleaner install than the tape jobs that were suggested to me and got bored one evening. Couple of hours later, o-rings on the Rico neck and a SOLID fit between the Rico and the Warp. No twist, no pullout, no wiggle.

A couple of days later, my replacement o-ring Rico shell came in the mail!

The o-ring works great, I used one of the little saws that was on my gerber pocket tool, worked great and only took 5 mins.

I did what shinyguy did, a band or 2 of electrical tape, unscrew the warp, insert revy and tighten.

what I did worked great, but you do have to loosen the set scrwes to get the revy off. I drilled a hole(about #4) through the warp and the revy. then tapped the holes in the warp for 4-40 threads put two small set screws in the warp and it holds the revy in perfectly. just make sure your set screws dont go into the revy so far that they hit the paint.

"I have a solution for you. with just a little bit of skill and some time you can make a very
functional hopper spacer that doesn't block the balls from feeding and doesn't get tape
adhesive all over thehopper neck or feed tube. what you need is a rubber cap that comes
on a barrel shipping tube and a sharp knife."

"Turn the cap inside out and cut off most of the top. Leave a small "V". Take the edge of
the knife and taper the "V" down to a point. Turn the cap right side out and place over the
feed tube. The "V" will be towards the center of the feed tube. As you put the hopper in,
the "V" will fold in and put preassure on the outside of the neck, which will hold the
hopper in place. You may have to trim the "V" a little to get the right fit. If you need to
take your hopper off during a game the cap usually stays in place and doesn't get lost. It
also doesn't slow the balls as they go into the gun. Quick, Simple, no mess, and best of all
                    it's cheep!"
