LvL 10 causing gun to stall?

I recently installed a LvL10 in my 68 Classic. Seems to do its thing but the gun will hang up after a string of shots. Also, if it sits between games it will hang up next time i try to shoot it. I found that bumping the back of the valve helps revive it. I also installed a Dye trigger frame (the same day) and I'm not sure if the sear may be causing my prob. Anyone ever run into this? Is there an adjustment to the sear or is it probably the LvL10 causing it? I've probably shot about 1000 rounds through the LvL10.

*when guns hangs up, bolt does not stick forward or anything, just won't shoot. After pulling trigger 5-6 times it will, or by bumping the valve.

Definitly sounds like you are using a carrier that is too small. With level 10, you need to install the largest carrier that does not leak to insure proper performance. That being said, In some cases that carrier may actually leak a little bit at first, making it easy to think that you have gone too large. However, if it is a relativly small leak, it's often a quick fix.

If you are experiencing a small leak with the next size carrier, try tightening you thumb screw a little bit more while the gun is under pressure. This may cause it to stop. Most likely (as in many of the level 10 installs ive done) the converse is true- - - as you tighten the thumb screw a bit more, the leak gets worse. Try loosening it a little bit. In almost every case ive worked on, that has caused the leak to stop. The whole thing has to do with tolorances between the bolt, body, sear and whatnot.

Keep in mind that this should not be so loose that you can turn the screw eaisly with your fingers- - -just a bit looser than 'super tight with a wrench'.

Hope this helps, let us know how it turns out.

        First off, Welcome to AO!

Secondly, sell that dye trigger frame and buy an AGD intelliframe, the dye is junk. It's not even made right, you have to adjust your trigger rod just to get it to function properly which is why AGD doesnt cover these frames under thier warrenty and will charge rebuild fees if you send it to them. I think this is whats causing your problems.

1.The intelli frame is even nicer looking
2.It has the trigger and safety already installed
3.the pull is WAY better on the intelli frame
4.you can use the frame to wire your hopper to your trigger.

I Agree. Get an IFrame and check the carrier on the LX bolt.
