    Barrel Wobble

I played for the first time today with my new norise. it is a great gun and I was able to shoot very fast with the inteli frame. the only problem I had was the barrel was would move when I shot the gun and it seamed to cause inaccuracy at distances. the barrel seams loose even though its locked in its slot. I'm using a new CF boomer.

is there any way to get rid of this barrel wobble?

side note: the LX works great, no chops all morning.

probably the orings on the barrel are not big enough or whatever to make it nice and snugg on the body? not quite sure, I am pretty new to mags but so far I haven't had that problem

DeathscytheSK is probaly right, check the barrel O-rings, you may even need thicker o-rings for that barrel, the groves may be depper then normal. If you need thicker ones try the plumbing section at homedepot. If the o-rings are snug but your geting twisting of the barrel then you may need to adjust you twist lock to make it stiffer

No. Don't tighten the twist lock assembly. It'll make all other barrels too tight (you may not be able to get them out once they are in).

Chances are, its the barrel itself that has the flaw. Maybe the grooves are cut too deep. Remove the barrel o-rings, wrap a piece of electrical tape around the barrel covering the grooves. Put the o-rings back on in the now shallower grooves. This should tighten your barrel and prevent barrel wobble.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

The fix is easy and costs you nothing. First remove the barrel orings. 2ndcut a thin stripe of scotch tape the width of the oring groove and wrap it in the bottom of the groove about two times. Replace the orings on top of the tape and test fit. Repeat with different amounts of tape until you get a nice fit.

              Thats it!
