I just bought an automag classic TKO kit from action village.com. I am going to add a nitro setup. What should I look for as far as bottle size, output presssure, etc. will I need adaptors? I hope to spend around $150. Any input is appreciated:

buy a preset (at around 800psi) tank. they are screw in so you will be able to just screw her right into your ASA and you will be ready to roll

Only spending 150 on your air system now is nice but you WILL want more later...
The Ideal most constitent setup is....
AGD or WGP adjustable air tank (68/4500)
Run the line to a Palmer ASA 0-1200 or 0-1500 Gage Regulator
Output on adjustable tank -- 1000-1200
Output on regulator -- around 800-875
This gives the msot consistent setup for chronoing... But it also costs probably as much as your gun did...
Considering your gun is a classic... Go with a preset bulldog tank. Once you get a retro valve, you will want the extra fire power. If you dont plan to go that path dont bother with the expensive stuff.Comment

DO NOT listen to what this guy says. That is called 'Double Regulating' your gun. Since the Mag has a Reg built into it, and the tank has a built in Reg, the 3rd regulator you add will starve the gun. do a search for double reg* and you'll see what I mean.Originally posted by Peach

Now, a good adjustable tank, like a Flatline, MaxFlo or the WGP tank is a good idea. then you only have two regs, the one on the Mag and the one on the Tank...
