Looks nice so far. Though one suggestion. I'd tape off the top of the grip frame, where the frame meets the body rail, having the layer of paint between the frame and the rail may play hell with the tolerences of the gun. thats why if you have a 'mag powdercoated, you dont paint between the body and the rail, and the rail and the grip frame.

I finished the first coat yesterday and placed the grips on the frame to check what its gonna look like. It is gonna look sweet!
Right now the starting of the second coat is is drying.
Bushman, it is on my stock mags grip frame, there was no color, its original color is black. I did not need to strip it. I would be happy to do you stock mag frame for around $10 (15 if I have to go out and buy a new can.)
My frame is going to look even better after I put the outdoor clear coat stuff on.

coffey...if I were you I would use the laquer that I had suggested. I am only saying this because of my personal experiences with the clear coats..they just don't hold up.
They either flake really easily or spider web the paint and trust me you don't want to have to redo it. I have tried several different brands of the clear coat and they all gave crappy results. I will look tomorrow for the particular brand of laquer I used..I tell you it is worth the extra $3. Anyway just my thoughts!Jesus Saves....and it don't cost you a dime! Accept Him and you will be saved.
