Bolt stick/chopping Lx, help me

1.5 cair (2.0 leaks Bad)

Med spring

if i short stroke it chops Drazsus(sp) Midnight paint.
(thats what i used yesterday)

and if i let the gun sit a wile the bolt will sick and i have to either reset it with my finger Or pull the trigger for maybe 5sec. and wait for it to do it itself.

also wile im at it. i am seeing alot of ware from my On-off? is that normal for a pretty new rt?

try this for me:

loose the shims, move up to a 2.0, and then change the o-ring.


I know that is alot to change at once, but here's my reasoning for this:

The gun not firing on the first shot genreally means that the o-ring carrier is too tight. if the next size up leaks, try slightly turning your field strip screw- - - you should notice a change in the leak. It is possible that playing with the screw a little bit could stop the leak. *has to do with body tolorences.*

Shims. ugg. Im still messed up on shims. To quote BlackVCG, you dont need shims in there unless the bolt pinches a ball and does not re-set.

Too many shims can also cause a leak. This could possibly be why the 2.0 leaks, too.

finally, if none of that works, try changin the carrier-oring to a new one. Yes, you'll have to break the new one in, but i fixed a VERY similar problem with one of mine the other day by doing this.- - I also went up to the largest spring. Remember, the largest spring is supposed to be used with the higer end of the velocity range. I usually play in the 290's, and since I made these changes i have had no problems as of yet.
