    Missing Hyperframe Mode

Does anyone else's Hyperframe have only the semi and hyper firing modes? I did a search found nothing with a related problem of missing the burst firing mode.

I can save you a phone call right now because I called about the same thing. I thought maybe I got the broke one or something (laughing) but no. Apparently, since burst modes aren't legal in tournaments they don't even make the burst mode on the Hyperframes anymore. They just program them with Hyper and Semi. Hope this answers your question.

Yea I've done it exactly as the directions state, and it skips between semi and hyper, right over the burst mode. At first I did a little searching and found that some earlier euro(?) models only had 2 modes, but they were semi and burst, so that didn't help any.

I thinking of building a simple board that has only full auto (for goofing around) and have it adjustable from 0 to 30 hertz pulsed current to the solenoid(0 - 30 bps if I'm not mistaken.) That should be able to get me the full use outta my planned X-Valve Purchase

Viva: Thanks a lot man! I was gonna do that but never had the time to.

Update: I see, but why leave the hyper mode then? I don't think that mode is tourny legal either When did they start doing this? The frame I bought from my local shop was a pretty old one (cost me 140 bucks new!), been sitting there for over a year if not longer.

i have one frame that is over a year old and just ordered a brand new one for a friend of mine and installed it on his gun and noticed this differance: mine (the older one) has semi, burst and hyper. it also has metal buttoms instead of plastic ones and it has no tourny lock on the board. whereas, his new frame only listed semi and burst on the outside of the box( i didnt go thru all the modes i just set it up and shot it a couple of times). now this friend of mine really liked the hyper mode on my gun. even though you cant use it much its still fun to play around with!

so i called ceterflag and talked to 'john' and asked about these differences and he said that as far as the 'mode' differences go, in jan'02 they made a few changes due to tourny rules and such but consumers were not happy with the changes so as of dec'02 the new mode config is this: semi, burst, and hyper-burst(a combination of burst and hyper modes). the hyper-burst mode works like the old hyper mode except that every fourth or fifth ball(depending on what it is set for)there is a split second pause. so you end up with a stream of bursts.

Awww, that sucks, I get the one thats between the 2 types with all 3 modes. Oh well, but I think I like it better with the original hyper mode a opposed to the Hyper-Burst mode.
