    Removing e-mag barrel

I'm having a hell of a time removing the barrel from my e-mag. Is there a trick I'm missing? I twist and pull, twist a little, pull, etc. Finally it will come off.

Is it a T-Groove barrel? If so, you need to pull on it slightly while you're twisting it and then once it feels like it's starting to pull out, then pull it straight out.

Also, make sure to put some oil on the o-rings. and clean out the inside of the mainbody to remove any dirt/grime that might make the o-rings sticky and make it harder to remove the barrel.

I found e-mag twist-lock assemblies to be really stiff... the spring inside is pretty solid. You might be able to get away with unscrewing the set screw in there a bit. Oil the barrel o-rings like BlackVCG said too.

Thanks. Pulling out lightly while twisting until the pin engages and then pulling straight did the trick.
