Tippmann FLatline question

Is the Flatline barrel cocker threaded? I remember seeing the Flatline Cocker and was curious if that was a special modded breach, or if it would just screw in. I've got this crazy idea of possibly sticking one on my Micromag.

The barrel itself isn't threaded. It has a special adapter that is threaded and then the barrel slips into that and the adapter clamps down on the barrel. The barrel itself is smooth the entire length.

Ok, is there a cocker threaded adapter then? If so, does it come with the Flatline kit, or where can I purchase one?

i'm pretty sure the only way they put them on a cocker was to modify the breech. permanently...this is why you didn't see too many of em...

There is no Tippmann>any gun barrel adapter that I know of. The flatline cocker is a cocker with a special block built directly onto the gun so that it can use the flatline barrel. This cannot be removed. The barrel can, but the mechanism and whatnot is permanently on the cocker. That is why these don't sell very well.

the only way i see that to be a workable concept is if someone made an adapter from cocker to a-5, because the a-5 flatline is designed better and the barrel itself is threaded. it would be much easier to use the a-5 flatline if there was an adapter
