E-Mag trigger will not fire in manual mode

I'm trying to shorten the pull in e-mode. When, I find the short pull and adjust the hall effect sensor so the e-mode works, the hall effect magnet on the trigger stops the trigger prematurely and will not allow full pull. Thus, the marker does not fire, just burps. I do have level 10 installed and works fine when I back the magnet back out.

    Help???

Sounds like your trigger rod is too short. The trigger rod should almost touch the back of the trigger when the trigger is pulled to the trigger stop when the selector switch is pointed to the back.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Are you using a Timmy Blade trigger?

No, have the stock trigger. Should I attempt to move the trigger rod length?

Adjust it so that there's a small gap "1/16" inbetween the back of the trigger when it's pulled back in E-Mode and the trigger rod.

Ok, what is the best way to adjust the trigger rod? Should I take off the trigger?

You need to completely remove the sear assembly from the trigger frame. You must remove the sear axle pivot pin from the rail, pull the E-Clip off of the solenoid plunger and then lift out the sear assembly. Measure it from the back of the arm the trigger rod is attached to, to the tip of the trigger rod. It should be 2.125"

I'm kicking this back to the top because I am having E-Mag manual problems too.

                  Setup:
                  No-Rise E-Mag, used
LX, long spring, #2 carrier, 2 shims
                  Macroline
                  Crossfire 68/30 stub

Chronied at around 280fps I have no response in pure manual mode. I have measured the sear and it is 2 1/8". It looks like the length has never been messed with. At that setting there is barley any sear rod poking out. If I increase the speed, the sear does poke out more. To shoot, the the increase fps speed, the trigger must be pulled ALL the way back to where it touches the frame.

I have seen the post about the sear tolerance, and it is within spec there. Then I saw a post saying to adjust the sear to make 1/16" gap from the sear rod to the back of the trigger.

So, should I just lenghten the sear rod? It is that simple? Will it ruin the sear and bolt? Maybe the on-off pin needs to be longer?

                  Thanks,
                  -H

Anybody? Should I just adjust the trigger rod?

Come on help! I have the trigger rod the correct length but the gap to the back of the trigger is more than 1/16". Should I move the rod?

Maybe you should adjust the trigger rod to be a bit longer if you are having those problems. Make sure the trigger rod doesn't make contact with the trigger when the trigger is pulled back while in e-mode.

                          In my experience

on two e-mags..... shortly after level 10 was released, I posted similarly to this.... and my conclusion is that level 10 is to blame... There was a point where i had lvl 10 on one e-mag, and the manual stopped one day... then I installed the new one on the other e-mag, and manual mode stopped functioning upon installation.....

who cares though...... I'd rather have level 10 then manual mode, I have a few back up guns just in case....but E-mags are very Solid....

Ok, hey thanks for somebody replying. Next time I'm messing with it I will move the rod out a few turns.
