    12v Warp Mod

alright, i'm gettin a retro valve on friday and need to make my warp feed to feed faster so that it can feed the beast that the retro valve is

i plan to stop down at radio shack after school tomorrow, and i need to know what parts that i need to get

what i've heard from others is a 18v to 12v converter, and an extra 9v harness, do i need anything else?

any help would be awesome, thanks

Depends on the amount of work that you would like to do to the warp. It takes 3 of the 9 volt connecters and a 12 volt regulator. I've heard that the 12v reg. will drain the batts if you leave them connected. So, I also drilled and mounted a toggle switch in the side of my warp. I also hard wired the whole thing to the warp's board. In this case I used only 2 of the 9v connectors. Here's a descripton of the work that I did. First I cut the 9v connector from the board. Next, I connected the red wire from the board the "out" on the regulator. Then, connect a red wire from "in" on the reg to the switch. Connect a red wire from one of the 9v connectors to the middle terminal on the switch. Connect the black wire from that 9v con. to the red wire from the other 9v con. Take the black wire from the 2nd 9v. con. and the black wire from the board and connect them to the ground on the regulator. I will try to draw a diagram and post it.
Here is a link that shows the 12v mod without the switch and is not hard wired into the board.
I'm a lefty that plays with an old school RT with H/L. I bought a warp and all is right with the world.

To be honest I would just use 2 9.6v Java Batteries and not worry about hacking up a 12v reg.

Your not going to be shooting above 16 bps unless you hack up that retro to run away. Just make a 2 battery loom and you shoudl be fine asd the 9.6's run a bit over 10.5 v for most of its charge.

This diagram shows the switch added and hard wired into the board.
