freak back won't lock in properly on my RT

i just got an aluminum freak back for my rt and it won't lock in all of the way. the painballs can't get in the breech. i noticed that the grooves milled for the twist lock are not the same as the ones on my CP and stock barrel. is this a manufacturing defect or do they only fit certain mag bodies???

    - 03 Angel Ir3 fly
    - 8 inch J&J edge barrel
    - 68ci 3k nitroduck
    - q-loader<--hands down, the best loader made.
    - do i need anything else?

It may be a vertical feed mag freak back, or is you mag a vertical feed? That's all I can thing of. I ordered a vert. feed freak back from SP and it was more than a standard, so if you don't need it you shouldn't have any problem selling it here!

my mag is a hopper-left power feed and the back has two L-shaped slots that are paralell to each other milled in it instead of the T-shaped slot on my custom products barrel

Got me there. My regular freak back is the same and works in my hopper left. I assume that you've tried the other groove and made sure the powerfeed plug is turned the wrong way. I forgot that I turned my one time and got pissed after I started firing and no paint came out and I gave away my position
