get an x-board and witch will upgrade the board to a 12v

no way you can actually make it feed faster except hook it up with x-board, and vortex impeller...not sure it that tunrs it to 12v though (x-board)Proud Member Of The AO Cesspool Since 08-24-2002

heres what i did with my 9 volt rev and it seems to be working out ok. i took a soldering iron and removed the jumper bridging the battery terminals(the board is set for two batteries, for the 9v they just jump one set of contacts)i then got two more battery contacts and slid them on and i put on a 4 blade prop. i now have an 18 volt rev. not sure it responds as well as an x board but it spins faster.battery life has not been an issue as of yet. total cost was a few dollars for the prop. try at your own risk.

actually the board should be okay, the only difference is an led and a voltage regulator. the voltage reg was only added to prolong battery life(and was a miserable failure cuz you only get a good day of play or two out of a set anyway). the problem with the old 18volt shredders was in the gears in the motor, thet would strip. those were beefed up before the BE aquisition, after, who knows now the shells dont even last. the only real caveat i can see as opposed to an xboard is the slight lag in the sensor response. does anyone know if this is overcome by the intellifeed??
