when you're pulling the valve out, pull the trigger. it pushes the on/off back into the valve. make sure theres no air stored in your line though : )

You may need to pull the trigger to push the on/off pin up.

I have held the trigger but i cant get it out still. I can turn the piece that the hose is connected to clockwise until it stops, is that what im supposed to do. I have pulled on the thing that says automag(the one where you have to line it up) and it still doesnt pull out.

I assume that you put the valve back into the body when you pulled the trigger, we meant that we just didn't say it. I was gonna ask last time why you were taking it apart? If there isn't paint busted in there I wouldn't worry about it. A tear down isn't needed after everyday of play.

disconnect all hoses connected to the valve, take out the filed strip screw, pull the trigger, and pull out the valve (may require some wiggling and/or turning a bit)

make sure you're doing all of this when the marker is degassed

even though it's been said previously... i'll say it again

              1. degass
              2. make sure there's no stored gas anywere (remove hoses)
              3. remove field strip pin
              4. pull trigger
              5. turn valve clockwise (looking at the valve as if you were shooting) until stops
              6. pull valve out

Don't forget to make sure the safety is off, at least on e-mags.
