    Valve ?

I noticed the other night that my valve logo is misaligned by about 1/8". I took it apart and readjusted it. I went out and shot it and noticed that it was misaligned again. I've noticed no notciable performance degrade, but it bugs me. Why is it doing this?

Also, how far should the on-off pin be pushed in? Should you struggle with it, or just lightly push it in so the oring catches?
Bartender, get me my golf shoes.

its just the way it screws in. my back up mag does it too

push the on off in still it stays in, the just put the valve in the gun, pull the trigger to make sure its in correct, then you should be fine.

when you say pull the trigger, you mean make sure it shoots, right?

The front part of the valve theat holds the on/off assembly is held tightly in place using the field strip screw. You should have no problems with that being lined up. The back of the valve will rotate a slight bit if there is slack in the alignment groove in the rail. Its not a big deal. It won't affect performance. If it bothers you, put a bit of filler in the front of the groove to take up some of the slack. The type of filler you use will determine the durability of your fix.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
