    Still can't field strip

can someone tell me what im doing wrong here is what im doing.

    1. I shoot while unscrewing the co2
    2. I unscrew the screw on the back
    3. I pull the trigger and the thing pops back
    4. I tug and pull but it still doesnt release
    5. Also, i can turn the piece with the hose in it clockwise about 70 degrees, and counter-clockwise 30 degrees.

I have no idea what im doing wrong

You have to undo your airline going in to your valve (the thing that says Automag). The air line is the stainless steel or pipe fitting that comes out off the back right of your gun. If your hose is too short you will not be able to pull your valve out. If you have a quick disconnect, pull it apart. If your hose is connected directly to valve, get a wrench, unscrew your hose and either get a longer hose or buy a set of quick disconnects. It seems like that is the only thing that could be stopping you from removing it. Like the other guys said, make sure that there is no gas going into your gun and that you have removed any excess gas inside of the valve.

The on/off pin is probably catching on the body. Remove the front screw and it should come right out

are you turning the valve clockwise a little bit? i don't know if its just on my gun, since i use an oddball classic RT, but i have to turn my valve clockwise before it'll come out.

tuna, he said he was pulling the trigger. my only thought is what cheetah said. i believe its called the z lock on the valve, you have to turn the valve counterclock wise, pull, then clockwise, and pull. this is just very. very, very small turns.

if that doesn't work, do what tuna said, remove the front screw and try to determine what is catching it from coming out.

On my old Classic68 I could never just take the valve out without removing the grip frame screw above the trigger. It just wasn't possible. I never thought anything of it and just used to break down the whole marker.
