Ok, i never thought i'd be stumped by the mechanical workings of a mag, but here i am. I have retro mag that's been in the closet for a while. I decided to get all my guns working so i could use them or possibly sell them. I bust out the old mag and decide to take her apart and clean all the internals and re-oil everything. Some of the orings look a little old, but still are in good condition. I get done, throw some air in it and no leaks or problems. Take a few shots, no problem. Rip a few strings, no problem. I was about to take the tank off when i kind of short stroked and a blast of air hit me. The gun was facing down so it vented out the back. I slowly pulled the trigger again, and it did it again. Then i remembered why i put it in the closet in the first place. So anyways, I change a few orings to no avail. So i change out the reg piston, same thing. Change out the springs and not working. So i took the whole back half of the reg assembly of my emag and put it in the retro. This time it just continuously leaks out of the back. So now i'm stumped. I changed the 2 reg seat orings. The only thing that's missing is the litttle c-clip that holds the 2 reg valve orings in place after the spring stack. Not sure but i would assume that it wouldn't be that. Anyone know otherwise would greatly be appreciated.
