i have only seen the inside of spyders, not worked with them, but if its still leaking even with all new o-rings and cupseals i would check the hammer, hammer spring, becuase maybe the hammer is hitting for too long, etc. if its a contant leak check the seals the bolt makes, check if you used wrong o rings, if all are replaced, and everything else. spyders arent too hard to fix, so just look it over and make sure everything is good

worst case scenario is that his valve is messed up. Have either of you taken the valve out? If not take it out now and inspect it. Use something soft like the eraser on a pencil so you dont damage it.

I need to start with the obvious: is your tank full and is the pressure high enough? Is the marker cocked?

If it's a BAD leak, chances are the valve is in backwards.

If you changed the valve o-rings and cupseal, change them again and make sure you oil them. Sometimes, seemingly with no explanation, things just don't sit right. I can't tell you how many times I've solved a problem on a blowback simply by stripping it down and re-assembling it.

My first marker was the original Spyder. One day I gassed it up and noticed a small leak down the barrel. I was like, "What the"! Then I noticed that it wasn't cocked. Cocked it up and the leak was gone. I realized that the hammer had enough force to push the valve pin to cause a leak. You may want to check that out. Also make sure that you didn't install the valve backwards.

one problem might be is that after a long period of use, the valve pin might of been rubbing against a side of the valve, finally making it wear out and now you have a leak and need to replace one of those. not sayign this is your cause, but just look for wear, cracks, etc in the valve and pin.

well i still have my spyder and its still my primary gun. its bob long millenium with a mako. but as for the valve leak. check that the valve is in correctly. it is rather easy to put it in backwards. in which case the gun will work but have a small constant leak. the small hole faces the striker. here is a page that may be usefull http://www.ottersccustoms.com/assemble.html
