yea thats right I guess the screw i was using were too damn short. And when i tightened one of them down it pulled the threads out soo i cannot tighten it. What have any of you guys done to remedy this problem?

a longer screw might help...

get one of those qwick disconnects for your bottom line then with the screws put some JB weld or maybe some type of locktite
