I was thinking of sandblasting my automag body. These are stainless steel aren't they? Can someone who has done this tell me how it turned out? Can you just leave it blasted? How does it look? What about chroming it? I would just like some feedback on how successful these procedures have been? Thanks.

The stock grey mag bodies are are already sandblasted stailness. Plating could potentially add too much thickness and mess with tht tolerances between the body and rail. I would recommend polishing the body up. If you do a good job it can look darn near chromed. -
i redid mine with a glassbeader and it comes ou looking nice it just gets dirty quick, so you have to keep cleaning it other than that its greatComment
