can't get my LX-RT to use either of the longer springs with out venting!

Well, i was chopping like a blender this past weekend so i tried to swap in a the middle length spring and my hyperframe couldn't fire it. I cranked the velocity up and she started blowing out the back like crazy. I am using two shims and i think it is the second smallest carrier.

    Any ideas?

You might have an O-Ring friction problem. Try going up to the 1.5 carrier, and keep it well lubed.

      issue

I have this exact same issue with my XValve and can't figure it out, I know it's not the carrier and probably not the shims cause the small spring fires fine. I will probably trim down my largest spring to be somewhere between the two.
