    problem with my mag, HELLLLLPPP!!!!!

my automag is giving me problems lately, and i'm not quite sure how to fix it, its something in the level 10 kit, its leaking down the barrel, the first time it did this i figured out it was the pin in the back of the superbolt, it had pulled out, well i assumed that it was the same thing again, this time i called airgun, and they sent me a new bolt, since they are now 1 peice, instead of the two the first batches were made with, well i gassed it up again, and its still leaking down the barrel, my level ten set up is: .5 carrier, 4 shims, cut spring.. any thoughts would be appreciated, since i'm trying to get it ready in time for an upcoming tournament.

First, take out your shims. If that doesn't stop the leak then go down to the "nothing" carrier(no lines no dots). If that doesn't work PM one of the techs. Good luck!

wouldnt taking out the shims tear up on my paint? and last time i tried to fix this i did try the nothing carrier, and it wouldnt let any air through, i will give the carrier a try again, (with this new bolt) but what would taking out the shims help? i'll try anything once, but i have to ask why....thanks for the help so far though

having now shims would only stop the bolt from recocking if it had to stop on a ball. Then you'd have to push the bolt back yourself. Yes i would say try a smaller carrier and if it doesn't shoot, try upping the velocity, just a tad.

Use 2 or 3 shims only. Start with 2. Also try using the 1 or 1.5 carrier. Thats what I used with a medium spring. It works perfectly, no leaks.
