level 10 E-mag leaking down barrel

I can't seem to be able to fix my gun. When I gas it up air leaks down the barrel. It is not a small leak, lots of air is blowing thru. The carrier seems to be a good size and everything else seems fine. The only thing what seems wierd is when the bolt is all the way onto the value (when out of the gun) the bolt seems to have some play and not be snug onto the o-ring any more. Looking at eth bolt it looks to be made this way so that may not be the problem. If I pull the trigger in manual and hold it, the leak stops. Any ideas?

What size carrier are you using right now? Even if it feels tight, try one size tighter.

Is the bolt piston fully seated in the bolt (assuming it's one of the first gen two piece designs)? Measure it from the tip of the bolt to the tip of the stem. Should be 2.010"

Make sure the black o-ring around the carrier isn't broke.

Also, when it's leaking, push back on the bolt with a stick squeegee or something similar and see if that changes the tone or stops the leak. If it does, try removing a shim or two.

measured the bolt. 2.125 inches. New bolt should fix the problem. Thanks.
