one more question. this involves a totaly different mag. i just got the level 10 bolt installed. when you tap the trigger (not pull it all the way back) are you supposed to hear a minor leak sound??

It sounds like you could be leaking from the On/Off valve. Look to see that all the O-rings are seated properly. If you have the instructional video watch it, it has trouble shooting tips for these kinds of problems.
It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.

Are you saying that the leak is down the barrel or down into the body rail?

A leak down the barrel indicates a problem with the power tube o-ring. A leak down into the rail indicates an on/off problem.

Does this marker have the level 10 bolt?

it leaks down the barrel, when i push on the valve it stops leaking, when i let go and take a couple shots it leaks again. then i can push on the valve and it stops again.
            no level 10

Definately a power tube o-ring problem. You need to replace the power tube spacer with a shorter one..

What size spacer were you using? What size spacer did you put in? Did you try the smallest spacer in the kit?

Have a look at your sear (especially the tip that holds the bolt). If it shows signs of wear, replace it.

i am using the smallest spacer in the kit, it is 215 i believe. the sear is fine. i got the back shooting to stop. but i have a tiny leak down the barrel that wont go away. 2/20 today, i am going to my local paintball store to see if there is a smaller spacer. could the leak be caused by anything else?

ARe you using any aftermarket parts such as a double trigger frame or aftermarket bolt? These items are known to cause those problems.

Try replacing the power tube o-ring with another new one. You may have a bad one even though it is new. Use plenty of lub when you first put it in.
