what would make the solenoid to malfunction. sometimes it just doesnt recock you either manually push it down and it will recock or switch it over to manual mode pull the trigger and then it will recock but not always? when its in electric mode you can hear the hall sensor tripping it and visually see the solenoid piston actually moving just a little bit but not enough to get a full charge. this happens intermitently.maybe havoc might have an answer?

Sounds more like a Level 10 issue then the solenoid. Have you tried to add/remove shims from your level 10? If not I would start there. You also might want to try a larger carrier and see if a leak down the barrel occurs. You might just have a bad combo that needs tinkering. ALso check that the battery pack has a full charge and you have plenty of air. -
Explain more thoroughly.
Does the gun fire and then the bolt not reset itself?
Does the gun not fire a) in electric mode b) in manual mode?
Does the solenoid not pull all the way in when the trigger is pulled in electronic mode?
The more info included the better the chances of us helping.Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.Comment

The solenoid has nothing to do with Mmode. Start there, put the marker in M with the electronics off and see if it shoots like an RT without problems.
If it's miss firing then describe the problem. Just make sure you have enough air in your tank(over 1,000psi) and make sure your velocity is up.
If it works fine in Mmode then put it in Emode. I really doubt the solenoids gone bad. There are a few things that would be causing those problems you described(as long as Mmode NOT Hybrid works good).
First try and get a volt meter and see how much of a charge your battery has(should be about 18-22v). Make sure your using the proper charger for the job not just any 12v charger will cut it. I remember you having battery troubles so this might be it(bad battery or wrong charger).
If the battery is good, then take your grips off and check to see if the plunger rod moves freely without any hangups.
If it's ok then take it out and measure it, should be anywhere between 3.005-3.010".
post back and let us know how it goes. it's important you check things in that order. if problems persist, post in detail, plz.
