Reactor Valve

I'm going to be recieving a Mini Mag in a trade and a Reactor valve is going to be included in the trade as a bonus. I've been trying to figure out what they are and do and it seems like I've heard some really mixed views. Some people say they don't really do anything and I should use the stock On/Off valve, others say it makes a shorter and lighter trigger, better consistency, and less shootdown. I'd just like to hear some of your views on it.

it does nothing better than stock. all it does is make it a pain to put the valve back in. stay stock.
