    Levels and numbers?

    i'm super new to mags and just want to know about the levels. and how do you know if a gun is a certain level.



    level 7 is the highest or something?

    Yea, level 7 is the newest level for a mag.

    You can tell if your gun is lvl seven by seeing if it has removable power tube. If the power tube comes off like in your video, then it is pre-lvl 7. If it seems to be welded on, then it is level 7.

    I think they are all pretty much level seven anymore. You might be able to find some info on the automag site. www.airgun.com.

    Serials are another way to tell, but I don't know where the lvl 7 cutoff is.

      Powertubes on Level 7 mags can come off, had that problem. If the serial is over 1000 on an Automag, or it's a Mini/Micro/anything else, you are guaranteed to have a level 7 or RT-type valve. IIRC there's only something like 35 level 5's that didn't get the level 7 upgrade.
