    Level10 /Retro Velocity Problems...Help Me...Please!!!

    Before I start let me state that I have searched around b4 posting this post...

    here are my specs:

    Classic Body
    Retro Valve
    Level 10
    AGD Intelliframe Trigger
    Freak Barrel System
    PMI Nitro Tank 68ci 5000PSI
    Nothing Else...Oh yeah and a 12v Revy but I don't think that has anything to do with this problem...

    The Problem:

    I went to the fields today to chrono my gun...the first shot was chronoed at 291...I shot the second time 157...I shot a third time 186...I waited 10 seconds then it shot at abit over 300....What did I do wrong ??? Can someone give me Clear instructions on what to do...I say this because I've read a few post with almost to similar problems and there are a few wiseguys that post useless garbage...so please only serious respond's...

    There is a very specific way to chrono the ReTro Valves. It was found on the instruction sheet for the ReTro Valve. (If there's not, go to www.airgun.com and download the manual for the RT Pro. It shows how to do it.)

      I've read the manual but yes I did try that as well.....

      I started adjusting the Velocity untill the air stopped leaking down the barrel...from there I shot a few balls of course it was way to low...so I started turing the velocity slighty clock wise...shoot some more balls...etc...when I got it to around 291 thats were the above happened !!!

      any other suggestions...........

        Replace/clean your regulator seat and the brass reg. seat spacer. If you need instructions on taking apart your valve, look in the Gun/Airsystem Maintenance thread at the top of this forum.

          I just tried cleaing out the whole entire valve...but the same thing is still happening....

          I thank you both for trying to help out a fellow Automag freak but I ended up calling AGD....

          John (AGD Tech.) suggested pretty much the same as you guys however he mentioned some others things perhaps cutting down the spring & or oiling up the Valve as well as perform open valve surgury...lol....I ask if I can just ship it to AGD and have them work on it...John said no problem !!!....I must say AGD YOU GUYS ROCK !!! I had a similar problem with a Spyder...the guys at Kingman just gave me the cold shoulder....Oh I forgot to mention AGD is not gonna charge for this.....I will highly recommend AGD service & Products.....
