i have the smallest spring and 2.5 carrier. the mag will not adjust past 250. after this it just starts venting out the back. i have tried to change the spring change the carrier and re-grease the spring pack. i have also tried lubing the carrier oring and the entire reg.

use the mid spring and try that, if you read the instructions on AO for installing the Level 10 it will tell you that the smallest spring is for velocities under 250fps

a longer spring will make it worse! I'm 99% sure you just need a new reg piston. Maybe someone else will confirm that??? Maybe search about it also, it has come up a lot.

dude, take and back the velocity nut all the way off, put the mid spring in, add some oil to the air fitting on the valve and try to chrono it.

Don't buy stuff without fully diagnosing the problem

                ok

now you can say that you need to get a new reg piston.

buy it off the agd website. sorry, but that's the solution here. If your reg piston is lowering its tolerances, when you try to adjust the velocity, you'll go from "no fire", straight to "leaking out the back". Once you replace the reg piston, you'll get "no fire" -> "fire" -> "leaking out the back".

well, hopefully you'll stop at "fire".
