AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Is there a way to make sure there is no more pressure in your valve? I am afraid of parts flying across the room . If you empty the gas lines, is that enough?
a quick disconnect is the way to go. I am not sure how the level 10 affects the residual pressure, since I don't have one installed on my mags, but usually if you disconnect, and there is still pressure, somethings wrong.
I've had the on/off assembly fly out at me, at my face. It was pretty scary. And I have a quick disconnect on it. The problem was in the quick-disconnect nipple. It has a one way valve in it (little metal peice w/ an oring). This let pressure from the tank into the valve, but wouldn't let pressure out of the valve when disconnected from the air source. This can be very dangerous, so if you have a quick disconnect, make sure you can see right through it, that there is nothing keeping the air flow from going in, and going back out.
This problem has made me hate my lvlx and flatline tank(Only this issue). When I turn off the tank, shoot off what I can, there is still 250~350 psi left in the line. This causes me to unscrew the regulator nut on the flatline until all the air it released. IMO AGD needs some sort of a letoff valve that can be attached on a steel braided D/C and then you can either put a macro adapter into it or run steel braded the whole length. This problem really bugs me and should be fixed before someone looses an eye, or I loose my allen wrench.
is basically a pressure relive valve that goes in line , and when you turnt he tank off, all you do is slide the sleeve to one posistion and bleed the left over air, and then slide back to the closed position and BADA BING BADA BOOM no more pressrue in the L10
i just bit the bullet and bought a proconnect, it sucks buying a 50 dollar fitting, but in the long run it is cleaner then having a qd and a slidecheck, and only costs a little more

you know what sucks even more.........you can buy them directly from staubli for $25. paintball stores mark them up alot!
Here's another question: how exactly do you set up a slidecheck/proconnect on your contraption?
The reason I ask is that in a few days I will receive my 68/4500 Flatline so I won't use my old screw in tank anymore. Would I just place the proconnect where I would normally place my 90-degree swivel adapter?
