Problem with XValve and Rapid Fire!

I just installed the xvalve into my emag, and when I shoot real slow it works "okay", now when I rip on it, I get one shot and then it sounds like the lvl 10 is going off, and sometimes not resetting itself.

Now when I shot the regular valve with Lvl 10, it worked fine, no problems. Input pressure from air system at 650 psi.

I have followed the instructions on this webpage.

My setup is a emag, WDP AIR air system, oh and the X Valve!!

Okay help here, need this thing for this weekends scrimmage.

Turn input pressure up if you can and turn the velocity up also and that should fix it. I had the same problem and found my valve was turned down too low, so the gun was being starved of air.

600psi is about the absolute MINIMUM pressure you should run in. 800-900 and the beast will be happy.

Also, if it STILL sticks when the pressure is turned up, try a looser carrier. PLUS- make sure you're running oil through it as well. The beast likes to be lubed.

I've run my E-Mag at 600psi for about 4 months now. Haven't had one problem. Though this weekend will be the first with my X-Valve so we will see how it works out.

I use my Max-Flow, and it keeps up plenty.

Most retros with lv-10 run best at around 850psi so I think this would be the same for the X-valve. Did your old e-mag valve have Lx-10? If not this is why you could run it at 650psi without problems, the lv-10 requires the extra 200psi because of the stepped bolt speeds.

            Please re-read. I said "MINIMUM."

And Nobody is correct. You need to add pressure to make the LX work correctly.

well we fixed it last night. After hours of messing and fiddling we found out the problem, my angel air needs to be serviced. Hooked a brand new AIR (the one that is waiting on my xmag) to it to see if it was the tank. and it was. Hooked thenew one up at 650 psi and cranked the hell out of it with the xvalve.

Oh and by the way, these regs will run at 600 psi on e mode, suck on regular mode, but rock at e mode.

                pressure?

Not to start an argument but dayspring is right, if you up the input to 850psi or so you'll get alot better performance out of it. Not saying it won't work at 600 or 650 but the performance and reactiveness will be alot better at higher input. Which is the reason for the retro upgrade from a stock mag valve, at least for most people. Give in and just try it everyone is doing it. HA HA HA.(TURN IT UP A LITTLE)

What pito and I are telling you, if you would reread our post, is that we are only using e mode, you know the electronic mode, not the retro mode, you know retroactive. We are shooting E-Mags, you know the electronic marker. So when in e(lectronic) mode we get no difference from turning it up to 800 psi or at 650 psi. Now since I did have an RT at one time, I understand the reactivness argument, yes it will give you better performance at a high input pressure, but since we have no need for the reactivness on the electronic mode, we turned them down and got just the same performance as with the higher input pressure.

Hope this helps you guys understand, oh and to let you know, we fixed the problem.
