    Anyone out there nickel plate things? cheaply and quickly

    I've got two pieces I need nickel plated (not chrome). One is a ram cap (small piece) and the other is a ram tube for the intimidator (ram tube has to be masked off partially). Good quality, quick turnaround, and fairly cheap would be nice Thanks for the help.

      cheapest thing to to is to do it yourself.
      go to http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/electroless.htm
      set up: Micro e-mag with 32 degree chrome flame drop, Level 10, 88/4500 crossfire, 12 in CP, 32 degree whisper and ARADUS 14in barrel, EVO II.

          Crome is just nickle plating with cobalt added. It is a slight bit bluer and harder and it doesn't tarnish as much.
          Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

              athomas- i don't want chrome because the rest of the pieces are already nickel plated. Nickel and chrome definitely look different, at least to me. Chrome is more of a whitish color and nickely is a darker color. I'm hopin I don't have to do it myself, I'd probably get hurt

                  anyone know why this was moved to the AUTOMAGS TECH FORUM? Just doesn't make sense. It's more appropriate in the paintball talk forum.
