    83 Bps??

I am kind of in disagreement with this guy over on the Kingman Forums. He's saying that he has a marker that will be able to do 83 BPS. I asked what type of air source he would use, and he said a 114 CU Armageddon (I believe).

Is it just me, or does this make no sense at all?

the big disclaimer is that it has multiple barrels. i believe hes telling the truth and it may still be impressive but its nothing new.

83 bps with 5 barrels = 16.6 bps per barrel And he says its a vulcan style setup so that means the barrels are rotating. I just cant believe it to be true untill I see the vide he is talking about makeing. Even if it does work and he can get a true 50 Bps(10 bps per barrel) the rotating mass of the berrel system would make the gun unstable, and you think a pre 2k cocker is hard to time, try getting this thing to line up the barrels with the breach/load/fire at that rate without becomeing a blender. But that is the reason I quit checking the Kingman fourms, that and they are so slow

kudos to Nobody077 for doing the math however while i definitely have not been able to see it in action the tippmann hellhound has a vehicle mounted cannon. i believe the barrels do not rotate however. so i guess youre right. i would be impressed if i saw all the barrels rotating in perfect succession while firing that fast.

I remember seeing one on the Tippman go karts a few years back. It used an electric drill for a trigger.

Yea, but it used like a 20 # Co2 tank for air didn't it?

This guy was saying a Nitro tank would work with it. Would a nitro tank recharge fast enough for this thing?

I believe he said the marker alone weighs around 10 lbs, and with a hopper and air tank it will be close to 20

the tippmmann hell hounds "main cannon" was never operational....the drill just made the barrels spin, they dont shoot.

                  83 Bps

Sounds to me like this guy has too much time, too much money (he listed how much each part of his gun cost in his sig... wtf), and a complex of some sort. eh, i digress.

My main question is, is it possible for him to use any size N2 tank to operate that thing?

I don't think it is, but i'd like to have someone back me up on this.

FiRe: The Hellhound's main cannon does shoot, it does 50bps (2 barrels at 25bps per barrel). Some poor guy walked into it's line of fire at a scenario last year.

Actually, it is quite operational. Only main problem is overheating. The Hellhound's weaponry can not withstand just being fired for the entire hopper straight.

It fires in spurts. Say a second or two at a time. This assures that it doesn't of course get destroyed.

But either way, no matter. Hellhound has been retired.

Hey buddy, did you ever realize that the Hellhound's weaponry isn't operational and just for looks? Think about that the next time you try to act like a know it all!
