What is the best way to clean out the regulator body?

I have been having consistency problems with my classic valve so I unscrewed the two halves and inspected and cleaned the regulator seat as shown in the video. There is a very small amount of sediment in the rest of the valve body. How should I go about cleaning it?

q-tips work nicely

I use q-tips with some rubbing alchol on them, then just give the valve time to dry before I put it back together.
