On a mag is the barrel length measured as a total,or from the body out.Meaning if I buy a 14"barrel will it only have 12" of legth outside the mag body,or 14" past the body?

Its body out, my brother an I both have 14" AA's for our mags. His (std twist lock mag body) is longer than mine (threaded cocker barrel since I have a micomag).02 Deep Purple c&c Angel LCD
