Dimpled paintball's?

I ussually never keep my paintballs long enough for them to get dimpled but it happens once in a while and i was wondering if there is a way to get rid of them or if it's permanent. How do you prevent it?

its either crappy paintballs with a crappy shell, but most its because they are lying around too long. if you have to store paintballs, turn them over every few days to prevent all the weight being put on one side, causing dimpled/squished paintballs. you pretty much cant get rid of dimples once they appear, just shoot em anyway
