    Power feed vs. Classic

    Would someone please discribe to me the difference between a powerfeed automag and a non powerfeed automag? I have both kinds should I upgrade to a powerfeed? both have lvx upgrade. or is there really no significant difference.

    Withe the Level 10, there's little performance difference between the two. Level 10 is a long-nosed bolt, so less blowback, which was the issue the powerfeed was invented to address.

    But, the classic feed stick way the heck out, so you probably still want a p/f body, just to reduce hopper hits.

      Can you cut a standard feed all the way down so there is just enough tube to put an elbow on... or is this a bad idea?

        There was I believe two reason for long feed tube. One was safety reason. It was made long, so you cannot put finger down it. Second was they wanted to keep enough paint stacked. That way the balls in stay in place during recoil. I have cut down standard feed before. With good power hopper, it is not an issue in my opinion, and with level 10, you can put your finger in it without hurting yourself.
